HOW TO ENROLL
NYC Department of Education students with children between the ages of 6 weeks to 4 years old (who are not age-eligible for Pre-K for All) are eligible for LYFE. To enroll in LYFE, follow the steps below.
GATHER THE DOCUMENTS
- Your child’s proof of age
- A current Child & Adolescent Health Examination Form for your child
- A current record of your child’s immunizations
- Your current academic schedule (if you need help enrolling in a DOE school or program, LYFE can help)
COMPLETE ENROLLMENT FORMS
FIND A LYFE CLASSROOM
- Contact a LYFE Staff Member at your preferred location.
ENROLL IN LYFE
- Contact the LYFE Staff Member at your preferred location.
- Visit a LYFE Site to enroll immediately upon space availability.
- Contact the LYFE Central Office for support with enrolling in LYFE.
MEET WITH THE LYFE TEAM
- Visit the LYFE site to meet the LYFE team, take a tour of the classroom, and learn about the daily routines.
- The LYFE team will schedule an orientation appointment with you to review your enrollment documents and to get to know you and your family.
